Information & Training Evening

Phil Hogan TD, Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government will address the APHCI on the water metering project and forthcoming plumbing regulations.

2012 was a very difficult year for Heating and Plumbing Contractors and the APHCI are looking forward to making progress in improving the industry in 2013

We have met with the main gas boiler & equipment suppliers and they are supporting the APHCI for 2013.
As a result we have made the following changes

New Venue
We have upgraded the venue of our Dublin/Leinster meetings to the
Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, Newlands Cross, Naas Road, Dublin.
Loads of free parking

Food Served (after work)
All future APHCI meetings will begin at 7.30pm Sharp.
Food will be served free of charge from 6.45pm.

Free Bar
A free bar will be open each evening

Guest Speaker
Each meeting will begin with a guest speaker on a subject of interest.
The first is on XtheX Tuesday 12th February where

Free Training
Each meeting will be sponsored by a leading supplier,
who will provide information on their products with the emphasis on training.
The 12th February will be  Potterton Myson Irl.Ltd
(A Part of BDR Thermea Group) domestic and commercial gas boilers (Baxi)

For Dublin we have six dates for your diary.
We have one date for Cork, Waterford and Limerick with further dates to follow

Insurance
An insurance facility is now in place and we would encourage anybody interested to contact

Finally we have been working with Insight Consultants to achieve our goals. We are in ongoing correspondence with members of the Joint Oireachtas Committee the RGII, CER and the Consumers Association etc.

As a qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer you are now invited to join the APHCI.
